WesTech/Filtra Dewaxers

WesTech/Filtra Dewaxers include filters for dewaxing, deoiling and for wax fractionation. Standard dewaxers are 11'-0 " diameter and are available in widths from 12' to 36'. Special filters are available in 6' and 8' diameter. Filters have been designed to minimize fugitive emissions and include external precision bearings and mechanical seals on the drive and scroll shafts. The WesTech/Filtra main valve is ported to minimize headloss and is bridged to permit continuous cold solvent media washing without interrupting the normal filtration cycle. Invert 'globe' lighting fixtures with Halide lamps permit visual access at all times. Windows are provided with solvent wash headers to clear wax accumulations and fogging. Filters are provided with variable pitch wire winding mechanisms complete with caliper brakes for tension control and maintenance. Available with either 4 or 6 tension devices mounted to the drum head. WesTech/Techniplant dewaxers with 26 sections provide 2-1/2" trailing edge and 2" leading edge pipes for each section to minimize headloss, maximize flow and accomodate the CSW option. Cold solvent media washing permits media washing without interrupting the normal operating cycle, draining the vat or taking the filter out of service, thus eliminating hot solvent cloth washing and re-chilling operations.

WesTech DAF/DNF Thickeners and Clarifiers

WesTech manufatures a complete line of Dissolved Air/Nitrogen Flotation equipment for the petroleum and petrochemical industries. DAFs/DNFs are used for oil removal and in applications where the specific gravity of the solids or contaminants is very close to or less than 1.0. Precoat, Belt and Scraper Vacuum Filters

WesTech offers several types of vacuum filters for the petroleum and petrochemical industries, with type and size configurations designed to meet your process needs.

WesTech scraper and belt filters offer high capacity designs with convenience in maintenance and operations, guaranteeing consistent throughput and clear filtrate.

The WesTech precoat filter provides process efficiency, with a patented design eliminating the most common problems associated with rotary precoat filtration. The WesTech design assures increased hydraulic flows up to 10 times the conventional rate while drum configuration reduces turbulence and pressure drops. Standard sizes available from 6" to 13'-6" diameter drum.

Designed for fast settling and fast filtering solids, belt filters provide exellent cake washing with multiple wash stages. Complete skid mounted units available up to 2' x 12'. Larger horizontal filters can be furnished with separate accessory platforms. Standard sizes available from 3" wide through 5' wide in any length required.
