WesTech's new, continuously backwashing filter is designed for municipal or industrial applications. It provides efficient filtration without the need for backwash supply or waste holding tanks or pumps. It produces only a small, continuous waste stream, and produces an uninterrupted effluent stream.

Sizes range from 15 to 900 gpm in a single tank, depending on filtration rate. Multiple common wall tank units can be assembled to any size of application.

The units have no moving parts and require minimal operator attention. The controls consist of a level transmitter coupled with a modulating effluent valve, an air control panel, and a filtrate weir to provide adjustment to the washing system.

Tanks are available in the standard painted carbon steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.
The stainless steel internal equipment can be supplied for concrete cells.

Access ladders and platforms are included for operator safety.
