Flocculators

WesTech flocculators are custom designed for all your process needs. Energy is imparted to water through paddle wheels, or impellers agitating the water promoting particle agglomeration. Typically the process is done in tapered flocculation, where the first stages have a high energy input, (velocity gradient) and subsequent stages have a lower velocity gradient.

Flocculators can be configured horizontally and or vertically depending upon spatial requirements and/or customer preferences. Flocculator basins can be of the dry well (requiring a wall penetration) or wet well design. Materials of construction include epoxy coated carbon steel, stainless steel with FRP, redwood, or steel paddles. WesTech can supply torque monitoring and protection, variable speed controls, and steel tankage.
